I've been waiting for this video since last week and I'm so glad I made the time for it. Beautiful on both sides of the screen. Teri, you're such a calming force and she seems like such a gentle soul on a long, difficult journey.
Thanks to both of you ladies for sharing yourselves with us!
Thank you for the compliment Kristi. I've been gradually getting to know Sonaakshi for the last couple months, and every interaction is just precious. I think she pulled the calming gentleness out of me.
This conversation brought out a lot of my feelings to the surface, feelings that I brushed under the carpet but needed to address. While I can tell which of my chakras are functioning a little off by analysing my emotions and physical symptoms, you have expanded my knowledge on the same and I'm so thankful to you for that. I was happy hiding behind my computer, expressing my thoughts on Substack and doing a podcast was never on my cards but thank you Teri for helping me do this. This conversation with you had healed me little more and I love you for that π§‘
Sonaakshi! I absolutely loved our time together on this call. I'm honored to be a quiet presence to help you open up your beautiful and resonant voice. You have a lot to share with this world. I value every part of it. I"m so honored to know you.
You're so brave Sonaakshi for sharing your story with the world. I can relate to so much in your story, so it's really helped me to listen to it. And Teri you are just magical, so impressive. I want more! π
You know, it's been my whole life, so I didn't know anything different. However, in time I learned to not pay attention to them...kinda like other people don't really pay attention to what people are wearing. And, my entire childhood was very overwhelming. As an adult I discovered Judith Orloff's work on Highly Sensitive People and I realized I wasn't alone in my sensitivities.
Love this as it helped me look at chakras in a physical non woo woo way. When I normally read chakras - I think tie dye clothes, hippy rituals and ethereal stuff. Nothing wrong with any of these things of course but they are not really my cup of darjheeling.
Teri, you explain and read chakras differently than anyone I've witnessed, and after seven decades fascinated with our mind-body-spirit connection, I've witnessed a lot!
You're an elegant hybrid. You combine your left brain analytical science mind with your right brain creativity amplified by your sensitivity to energy.
this is perhaps one of the highest compliments I have ever received. I do pride myself on being a βboth sides of the brainβ rare-bird.
and speaking of eleganceβ¦that is the perfect word to describe the beautiful dance of colors and movement I see in your aura whenever we are on zoom together. You are the perfect expression of elegance.
(thereβs a lot of blue, green, teal, purple, fuscia sparkles in your form of elegance, btw)
Teri, so good! Deep. Real. Open. I felt everything. I know it is true.
Before I could get a PhD, I had to get a master's. I was impatient and decided to pick metaphysics. That should be easy. Right!?
Okay, what class is open? Healing With Chakras. Okay. Signed up and did such a deep dive, the instructor said, go ahead and take the final exam. You're finished.
But I want more, and I just started!
What you shared in the video was pure, Teri. Clear and simple so we can understand.
And the trust Sona had for you and her willingness to let us in was way beyond anything I've expected brfore.
Teri, you were the first person I connected with on Substack, and I am profoundly grateful.
I cannot even imagine what a masters program in metaphysics is like, much less a class on Healing with Chakras. And then a final exam? Seriously? I suppose I could teach such a class, but I could definitely not require a final exam. I hate exams. When I taught high school, I avoided them until administration required them. Then I broke the rules. Iβll have to tell you that story sometime.
Iβm honored to be the first person you connected with on Substack. You are a kindred soul to me.
Itβs deep validation for me to hear you say my work with chakras is pure.
Thank you for sharing your personal journey with such honesty and vulnerability. It's inspiring to hear how you've embraced your unique abilities and turned them into a way to help others. Your story reminds me that our perceived weaknesses can often be our greatest strengths. I also appreciate your candidness about the challenges of being highly sensitive. It's comforting to know that I'm not alone in feeling overwhelmed at times.
Thank you for following and reading and commenting on so many of my posts. I appreciate your perspective here Alexander. One of my favorite quotes is "the gift lies inside the wound." Gifts/curses, it's all a matter of perspective.

Thank you Sophie for encouraging both Sonaakshi and me. This zoom was a very precious time for both of us.
Thank you for saying that! I'm glad you could relate to it and yes, Teri is definitely great at what she does!
Powerful stuff here my friend! It mustβve been fascinating and also quite overwhelming to see all the auras as a child.
You know, it's been my whole life, so I didn't know anything different. This makes total sense to me. I turned off all my knowing when I was a kid, not wanting to be called crazy
I've come to embrace the word "weird"...it actually comes from the root for mystical and "meant to be".
I honor my weird too. And as my daughter says, βlet the freak flag fly!β π€ππ€

the hippy rituals and woo-woo stuff is only half the story. But no one pays attention much to the science side of it all. Iβm out to change that.
Happy to help that mission
This was beautiful to experience Teri. I've only ever experienced work on my chakras with a Reiki master in silence while I snoring on a table.
This was fascinating. I always felt it was a missed opportunity in the woo woo to get the subconscious AND conscious working together.
I hope there is a video podcast in your plans down the road between all your writing and coaching.
It was interesting to watch to transformation in you both as you moved through the process together.
Lovely β₯οΈ
My publication seems to be sort of turning into a video podcast. I'm hosting four more readings similar to this on in the month of October too.
and yes, the subconscious and the conscious need to communicate more.

WOW. I surprised even me β¦οΈ
